ABOUT THIS PROJECT

For my diploma in Communications and Graphic Design at the U5 Academy in Munich, I created an advertising concept for the charity organisation "Brot für die Welt". I developed an entirely new and modern look which included the logo design, print ads and posters. My approach was to create an advertising campaign devoid of cliched pictures of starving people or shocking images from third world countries. Instead, I used well-known symbols depicting first world consumerism and twisted them in the opposite direction in order to to create awareness. (Mentor: Daniel Müller)
